Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that fostering relations with member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is a key focus in Azerbaijan's foreign policy. He made this statement while hosting the meeting of Heads of Government and Vice Presidents from OTS member states.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the historical, cultural, and ethnic connections that underpin these relationships. He noted that these shared roots create a strong foundation for collaboration. The president also pointed out that as independent nations, the OTS members present a unified stance in international forums and offer mutual support to each other.
