Yerevan: 'We have lived in peace for only nine months, and we are learning to live in peace,' said President Ilham Aliyev during his video address at the European Political Community summit held in Armenia, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the significance of the peace process initiated last August in Washington, where the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a Joint Declaration at the White House. President Trump also signed the declaration as a witness, marking a pivotal moment in the peace efforts between the two nations. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan subsequently initialed the text of the peace agreement.
President Aliyev expressed optimism about the peace process, acknowledging that both Azerbaijani and Armenian parties view the agreement as a significant step towards lasting peace.
