Kalbajar: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has unveiled the motives behind the free arms supplies provided to Armenia by various countries, during a meeting with the residents of Kalbajar.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that the cost of the weapons received by the Armenian army from abroad, which were subsequently destroyed in the Second Karabakh War and the anti-terrorist operations, and those taken as military booty, amounted to approximately 5-6 billion dollars. He pointed out that Armenia lacked the financial capacity to purchase such a large arsenal independently.

President Aliyev elaborated that these weapons were supplied for free to Armenia with specific intentions. The primary purpose was to perpetuate the occupation, prevent the return of Azerbaijanis to their ancestral lands, and hinder any peaceful resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
