Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has expressed congratulations to President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, in light of Rwanda’s national holiday. The message of goodwill was conveyed through a letter, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev’s letter emphasized the growing ties between Azerbaijan and Rwanda. He recalled their meeting in Baku during President Kagame’s visit for COP29 in November and highlighted the potential for expanding cooperation. The Azerbaijani leader expressed optimism that continued collaboration would benefit both nations.
