Davos: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of regional stability during an interview with Euronews TV in Davos on January 20. He highlighted that Azerbaijan consistently prioritizes stability both within its borders and in its neighboring regions.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev expressed that while Azerbaijan does not face potential risks internally, external factors remain a concern. He underscored the importance of stability, predictability, and peace, particularly in light of recent destabilizing events in Iran. The President reiterated that, having suffered from war and occupation in the past, Azerbaijan values stability and security as essential components for national and regional success.
