Azerbaijani President’s Turkmenistan Visit Gains Extensive Turkish Media Coverage

Turkmenbashi:The 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Central Asia, hosted in Turkmenbashi, Turkmenistan, attracted significant attention from Turkish TV channels, news agencies, and news portals.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev's participation was a focal point for the media, highlighting his speech at the event and discussions with Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The coverage also emphasized the signing of key documents by leaders of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries.

President Aliyev's remarks underscored a substantial increase in Azerbaijan's trade with Central Asian countries, noting a rise of over 50 percent last year. He emphasized the strategic importance of the Caspian Sea for transport connectivity between the regions, stressing Azerbaijan's role in facilitating energy resource transport to international markets.

Furthermore, the Azerbaijani President advocated for a more vigorous utilization of investment funds to undertake joint projects, create new manufacturing facilities, and enhance industrial cooperation across the region.
