Baku:Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Husain Al Musallam, President of World Aquatics, on September 30.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of hosting the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup in Baku for the first time. This event is expected to enhance Azerbaijan's international sporting profile and promote swimming within the country.

During the discussions, both parties reviewed Azerbaijan's initiatives to develop swimming, its advanced sports infrastructure, and its experience in hosting international competitions. They also emphasized the successful development of cooperation with World Aquatics and exchanged views on future partnership opportunities.
