Baku: Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov recently engaged in discussions with a delegation from the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) Board of Directors. During this meeting, which took place on September 14, the high level of partnership between Azerbaijan and the ADB was acknowledged, with both parties expressing satisfaction over the longstanding collaboration.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting was attended by Azerbaijan's Minister of Finance, Sahil Babayev. The discussions revolved around various joint projects across multiple sectors including transport, energy, water supply, finance, education, and healthcare. Both parties recognized the potential for expanding cooperation through public-private partnership mechanisms.

The Country Partnership Strategy for 2025-2029 was identified as a fundamental framework for advancing Azerbaijan-ADB cooperation. The discussions also focused on aligning forthcoming projects in energy, transport, and water infrastructure with Azerbaijan's long-term development goals.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on opportunities for further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank, reinforcing the commitment to a robust partnership.
