Nakhchivan: Railway reconstruction works are continuing in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, APA-Economics reports, citing Azerbaijan Railways (ADY). The first phase of the design and construction works, which began at the end of last year, covers the Salammalik, Ordubad, Aza, and Julfa sections.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this railway network will become part of the new regional transport connection that begins with the Zangezur corridor, linking to the TRIPP route in the border area of Ordubad district with Armenia. The restoration aims to enhance regional connectivity and facilitate transport across these strategic routes.
