Azerbaijani Scientists Abroad Honor National Leaders and Martyrs in Baku


BAKU—Participants of the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad gathered in Baku to pay their respects at the Alley of Honors and the Alley of Martyrs. The event saw more than 80 scientists from 23 countries honor significant figures in Azerbaijan’s history.



According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the group first visited the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who is credited with founding modern, independent Azerbaijan. Following this tribute, the scientists proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate the heroes who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence and territorial integrity, marking a profound moment of remembrance and national pride.
