Aktau: The Turkic World ‘Korkyt Ata Turkic Film’ Festival, organized with the support of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), took place in Aktau. The event showcased a diverse selection of forty-seven films representing various Turkic nations and regions, highlighting the rich tapestry of Turkic cinema.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijani talents received significant recognition at the festival. Taleh Yuzbeyov was awarded the “Best Screenplay” for his work on the film “May Be.” Additionally, Parviz Mammadrzayev received the “Best Actor” award for his performance in the movie “Oil.” These accolades underscore the growing influence and excellence of Azerbaijani cinema on the international stage.
