Azerbaijani Servicemen Engage in ‘Nusret-2025 Invitation Exercise’ in Turkey

Ankara: Azerbaijani servicemen are actively participating in the ‘Nusret-2025 Invitation Exercise’ being hosted by Turkey. The exercise is taking place in the Gulf of Saros and involves the participation of naval and air forces from NATO and Turkey, along with relevant units of the Coast Guard Command and observers from various countries, as per a statement from the Ministry of Defense.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the objective of the exercise is to improve the knowledge and skills of the participating units and commands in planning, executing, and assessing mine warfare operations. It also aims to strengthen mutual cooperation and interoperability between the Turkish Naval Forces and the naval forces of friendly and allied countries.

In addition to Azerbaijan, the international exercise features a total of 44 participants from countries such as Bahrain, Bulgaria, Egypt, Indonesia, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, the Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Peru, the Republic of Korea, the Republic of South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America.
