Athens:Azerbaijan's shooters are preparing to participate in the 2026 European Championship Shotgun in Athens, Greece.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a contingent of 12 athletes will represent Azerbaijan in the Trap and Skeet events at the championship.

The Skeet team includes Niyaz Aghazade, Fuad Gurbanov, Abidin Asadullayev, Rigina Meftakhetdinova, Nurlana Jafarova, and Ali Mustafayev. Competing in Trap will be Murtaza Novruzlu, Ali Huseynli, Aydan Jamalova, Narmin Jafarova, Alimirza Guliyev, and Mirmomin Agazade.

The championship is set to take place from September 27 to October 13.
