Azerbaijani Truck Driver Dies After Being Struck by His Own Vehicle in Iran


Julfa: An Azerbaijani citizen who had been in a coma for 10 days in Iran has passed away, APA’s Nakhchivan bureau reports.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the incident occurred 10 days ago near the city of Julfa in neighboring Iran. The truck driver, Navai Nasirov, born in 1986 and a resident of Babak city, was struck by the vehicle he was driving when he opened the door. After the incident, he was taken to a hospital in Tabriz city.



N. Nasirov, who suffered severe bodily injuries, passed away at the hospital. His body is expected to be brought to Nakhchivan today.
