Azerbaijani-Turkish Brotherhood Seen as Key to Regional Peace

Baku: “The elevation of Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations – rooted in the unbreakable will of our peoples and based on the principle of ‘One nation, two states’ – to the highest level fills us with great pride,” President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, said in his congratulatory letter addressed to the President of the Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of the national holiday of Turkiye – Republic Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the steady deepening of bilateral ties, which have been enriched with new dimensions and elevated to a strategic alliance through the Shusha Declaration. This development is viewed as an expression of firm political will and consistent joint efforts between the two nations.

The president further highlighted the unparalleled brotherhood, unity, and alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkiye as vital factors for peace, security, prosperity, and cooperation in the region. Aliyev’s remarks underscore the significance of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations in contributing to regional stability and development.
