Azerbaijan`s Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar have had a telephone conversation.

Colonel General Zakir Hasanov informed his counterpart on the provocations committed by the Armenian side and the situation on the state border, saying the steps of the opposing side were resolutely suppressed.

Minister Hulusi Akar noted that Turkey, as always, stands by Azerbaijan today.
