Azerbaijan's weightlifter Muhammadali Mammadzade (96kg) has claimed a gold medal at the 2023 European Youth and U15 Championships in Chisinau, Moldova after lifting 117kg in the snatch event. Mammadzade also grabbed a silver medal after lifting 138kg in the clean and jerk event. He lifted a total of 255kg (117+138) to secure his second silver medal of the championships.
