PARIS: Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov lost his semifinal match at the Paris Summer Olympics, Trend reports.

Competing in the 67 kg weight category, Jafarov faced Ukraine’s Parviz Nasibov, an Azerbaijani-born wrestler, in the semifinals.

Although the match ended in a 3:3 tie, Nasibov advanced to the final based on the last point scored.

Hasrat Jafarov will compete for the bronze medal tomorrow.
