PARIS: Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Giorgi Meshvildishvili has reached the semifinals of the Olympic Games in Paris, Trend reports.

Competing in the 125 kg weight category, Meshvildishvili faced Lkhagvagerel Munkhtur of Mongolia in the 1/4 finals.

Meshvildishvili knocked it out of the park with a score of 12:2 and sailed through to the semifinals.
