Baku: Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Isfahan Hasanov achieved a remarkable feat by winning a silver medal at the U-17 World Wrestling Championships on home soil. He secured the medal in the men's 80kg weight division.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the championships also saw success for other Azerbaijani wrestlers. Omar Salmanov and Orkhan Habibli earned bronze medals in their respective weight categories, 48kg and 65kg.
