Azerbaijani beach wrestlers have captured three medals, including a gold in the fourth stage of the Katerini Beach Wrestling World Series 2022, held in Greece.

The gold medal came from Ibrahim Yusubov in the 90kg weight class.

Other Azerbaijani wrestlers Ramiz Hasanov (70kg) and Omid Kamaliagdam (80kg) bagged bronze medals for Azerbaijan.

Georgia topped the medal table, while Azerbaijan ranked second, followed by Romania.

The world series consists of 5 stages. The last 5th stage will be held in Romanian city of Constanta on September 3-4.
