Skopje: Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Emin Javadli clinched the gold medal in the 55 kg category by defeating Armenia's Edgar Petrosyan in the final at the U20 European Wrestling Championships in Skopje, North Macedonia. This victory marks a significant achievement for Javadli and contributes to Azerbaijan's standing in the competition.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, other Azerbaijani wrestlers also performed well, with Javidan Nehmatov securing a silver medal in the 77 kg category and Orkhan Hajiyev taking home a silver medal in the 87 kg category. These victories highlight the competitive spirit and skill of the Azerbaijani team at the European level.
