Azerbaijanis living in UK hold protest rally outside Armenian embassy in London

Azerbaijani diaspora organizations operating in the UK have held a protest rally outside the Armenian embassy in London against the large-scale provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces on Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.

According to Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the protestors strongly condemned the destruction of Azerbaijani cultural heritage, raising their voices against Armenia’s planting of mines in Azerbaijani territories, and demanding to bring clarity to the issue of missing Azerbaijanis. The rally participants also drew the political circles` attention to the factors that hinder efforts to establish peace in the region.

The protesters held up slogans such as “Armenia attacks, Azerbaijan protects its borders!”, “Azerbaijan wants peace, Armenia wants war!”, “Azerbaijan demands justice!”, “Armenia, stop mining!”, “Mines kill civilians!”, “Mining of Azerbaijani lands is a war crime!” calling on Armenia to put an end to its policy of occupation and make peace in the region.
