OUAGADOUGOU — The Air Defense troops of Azerbaijan’s Air Force are conducting a tactical-special exercise as part of the 2024 training plan, focusing on the capabilities of their radio technical units.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the units were brought to combat readiness and tasked with detecting small-sized, low-altitude, and low-speed targets, relaying this information to the appropriate units. The primary objective of the exercise is to improve the operational staff’s practical skills in repelling sudden air attacks by a simulated enemy, as well as to explore the effective use of radio engineering and communication systems under various weather, terrain, and electronic warfare conditions.
