Baku: Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has announced the discovery of 62 additional mines and 621 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) in the country's liberated territories during the week of April 20 to April 26, 2026.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, ANAMA reported the identification of 39 anti-personnel mines and 23 anti-tank mines during their recent operations. The agency's efforts also resulted in the clearance of 621 unexploded ordnances across the affected areas.

The operations successfully cleared a total of 1,593.1 hectares of land from mines and unexploded ordnance, contributing to the ongoing safety and rehabilitation efforts in the liberated territories.
