Azerbaijani female fencer Anna Bashta will test her strength at the World Fencing Championships 2023 to be held in Milan, Italy from July 22 to 30. Bashta, who will join the competition directly from the main stage, will take on Indian Chadalavada Anandha in the women`s sabre individual event. Fencers from over 150 countries are competing in the foil, epee and sabre categories, both in individual and team events. The individual events run from July 22-27 while the team events will be held from July 27-30. The World Fencing Championships 2023 in Milan offers qualifying points for Paris 2024 Olympics.
