Riyadh: The Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Taleh Kazimov, has announced the main consequences of the current geopolitical situation for Azerbaijan during his speech at the “AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies” conference held in Riyadh.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Taleh Kazimov stated that the geopolitical tensions have led to increased inflation and uncertainty. He emphasized that changes in the financial infrastructure are related to the use of digital currencies and the rise of their platforms.
Kazimov outlined that the main consequences of the geopolitical situation include inflation, transformation in international settlements, increased use of digital assets and national currencies, and the importance of compliance with international regulatory requirements.
