BAKU — The Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan has confirmed the registration of nearly 600 international observers for the upcoming snap parliamentary elections.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov stated that 598 observers from 69 countries and 51 organizations have been registered to monitor the elections across all electoral districts. The application period for these observers concluded on August 22, ensuring a diverse international presence to oversee the electoral proceedings.
