BAKU: Azerbaijan’s extraordinary parliamentary election has seen the registration of 228 international observers from 43 countries and 24 organizations, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said, Trend reports.

The chairman made the statement at today’s meeting of the commission.

To note, on June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
