Baku:The Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan has given its approval to the opinions on the draft state budget and the draft budget of the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) for the year 2027. This decision was reached during a routine Board meeting chaired by Vugar Gulmammadov.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the meeting focused initially on the Chamber of Accounts' evaluation of the draft state budget for 2027. The opinion included an assessment of the draft law's compliance with existing legislation, along with a review of the accuracy and completeness of the budget's revenue and expenditure forecasts and budget deficit indicators.

Following comprehensive discussions, the Board decided to approve the opinion and forward it to the Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan's Parliament. The meeting also addressed the draft budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2027. After analyzing the conducted reviews and suggestions, a similar decision was made to endorse the opinion and submit it to the Milli Majlis.
