Azerbaijan’s Consumer Spending Surpasses AZN 69 Billion in 2024

Baku: Azerbaijan’s consumer spending reached a significant milestone in 2024, with total household expenditures increasing by 6.1% compared to the previous year. This growth brought the expenditures to a total of 81 billion 90.2 million manats.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the final consumption expenditures of the population saw a 5% rise last year, totaling 69 billion 346.1 million manats. This increase in consumer spending reflects a broader trend of economic activity within the nation.

Additionally, the nominal incomes of the population experienced a 6.4% rise in 2024, reaching 83 billion 93.4 million manats. This increase in income levels is indicative of the overall economic growth and improved financial conditions for households across Azerbaijan.
