Azerbaijan’s Currency Market Sees Stability in Manat Against Key Currencies.


Baku: The official exchange rate of the manat against the US dollar, as set by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, remained stable throughout the week, with the rate holding firm at 1.7 manat per dollar. The weighted average rate at the week’s end consistently matched this figure, indicating no fluctuations over the period.

According to Trend News Agency, while the manat-dollar exchange rate showed steadiness, the exchange rate of the manat against the euro experienced a slight decline of 0.0153 manat over the week. However, the weighted average rate rose marginally by 0.0014 manat, concluding the week at 1.8407 manat per euro.

The exchange rate of the manat against the Russian ruble remained unchanged, while the weighted average rate saw a minimal decrease of 0.0002 manat, settling at 0.0175 manat per ruble. This reflects a minor adjustment in the currency pairing, though the official rate stood constant.

The exchange rate of the manat against the Turkish lira showed no change across the board, with the weigh
ted average rate remaining at 0.0496 manat per lira throughout the week. This stability indicates a consistent performance of the manat against the Turkish currency during the period under review.
