Azerbaijan’s Customs Revenue Falls by 4% in Ten Months

Baku: Azerbaijan’s budget revenues through customs decreased by 4% in January-October of this year, the Ministry of Finance told APA-Economics. According to the information, in the first ten months of this year, revenues through the State Customs Committee amounted to 5 billion 255.7 million manats. This is 4% less compared to the same period of the previous year and 3.2% below the forecast.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, despite the decline in customs revenue, the overall state budget revenues for January-October reached 32 billion 891.4 million manats. This figure exceeded the forecast by 1.7 percent, indicating a broader resilience in other revenue streams despite the shortfall in customs income.
