Istanbul: Vugar Mustafayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry, held several pivotal meetings on the sidelines of the SAHA 2026 International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition in Istanbul, Trkiye.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani minister had discussions with Yasar Gler, Turkish Minister of National Defense; Haluk G¶rgn, Head of Trkiye's Defense Industries Secretariat; Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Baykar; Ahmet Akyol, CEO of Aselsan; Murat Ikinci, General Manager of Roketsan; Aziz Yildirim, Chairman of Dearsan; as well as Duong Van Yen, Vice Chairman of the General Department of Defense Industry of Vietnam, and Mohamed Al Farsi, President of the Oman Investment Authority.

During these meetings, the parties exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in the defense industry and exploring new opportunities. The discussions also focused on the development of innovative technological products, joint initiatives, and opportunities for the exchange of experience.
