Trkiye: A delegation led by Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Defense - Director General Agil Gurbanov paid a working visit to Trkiye to attend the SAHA 2026 International Defence and Aerospace Exhibition, the Ministry of Defence told AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the visit, Director General Agil Gurbanov met with Minister of National Defense of Trkiye Yasar Gler, President of the Secretariat of Defense Industries under the Presidency of the Republic of Trkiye Haluk Gorgun, and Minister of State for Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Lord Vernon Coaker. The meetings focused on exchanging views on the current state of cooperation in military and military-technical fields, exploring prospects for further development, and addressing other issues of mutual interest.

The delegation also toured the exhibition, which featured exhibits on military aviation, advanced aeronautics, AI-driven innovations, and space research technologies developed by leading international companies. Additionally, the Director General met with delegations from the Defense Ministries and military-industrial complexes of Germany, Italy, Sudan, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam. Meetings with senior executives of ASELSAN, Baykar, Roketsan, TUSAS, and ARCA Savunma included discussions on military-technical cooperation and future collaboration prospects.

MIRAS Military-Industrial Company LLC, under the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, represented the country with a national booth at the exhibition.
