Azerbaijan’s Digital Economy Strategy to Include Nearly 100 Initiatives

Baku: “We are preparing Azerbaijan’s ‘Digital Economy Strategy’ for the next five years, which includes nearly 100 initiatives,” announced Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), during the “New Technologies for a New World” panel at the XII Global Baku Forum.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Jafarov elaborated on the groundbreaking initiatives being developed under his leadership. The organization has created a system that applies artificial intelligence in the call centers of individual organizations, processing calls after they are received. He emphasized that AI technologies have the potential to be utilized in large manufacturing enterprises and the provision of public services.

Security measures are a priority within the strategy. A Special Communication and Information Security State Service has been established in Azerbaijan to address these concerns. Jafarov mentioned that AI can be effectively integrated into the Azerbaijani transport system and employed in various government operations, including report preparation and strategy development.
