Azerbaijan’s Domestic Public Debt Sees 7% Decrease

Baku: Azerbaijan's domestic public debt has decreased by 7% as of July 1, 2026, with the debt standing at AZN 15.982 billion. This information was provided by the Ministry of Finance, APA-Economics reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Finance indicated that the domestic public debt accounted for 12.2% of the country's projected GDP for the current year. The report also highlighted that there was a 6.96% reduction in the domestic public debt compared to the same period last year.
