BAKU: Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev met with Charge d’Affaires of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ding Tao. The meeting focused on discussions related to the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

According to Trend News Agency, both parties exchanged views on the preparations for COP29, which is scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan from November 11 to 22. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and ensure successful planning and execution of the international climate conference.
