Baku: Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov has met with a delegation led by Alparslan Bayraktar, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Trkiye.

The parties expressed their appreciation over the fact that the friendship between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Trkiye ensured the continuous development of relations across all areas, particularly in energy cooperation.

The two discussed the challenges related to the construction and commissioning of the Igdir-Nakhchivan gas pipeline, as well as the expansion of TANAP. Emphasizing Nakhchivan`s transition into a green energy zone, they underscored the importance of cooperation with Trkiye in this realm.

The meeting also addressed the organization of the 4th Azerbaijan-Trkiye Energy Forum. They noted that continuous events and intensive relations in this format will contribute to the development of energy cooperation between the two countries in numerous ways.
