Azerbaijan’s Exports to France Surge Over 17-Fold in Early 2026

Baku: Azerbaijan's exports to France saw a dramatic increase in the early months of 2026, according to figures released by the State Customs Committee. Between January and April, Azerbaijan exported goods valued at $50.34 million to France, marking an impressive rise of $47.48 million compared to the same period last year. This surge represents a 17.6-fold increase in export value.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the report also highlighted a decline in imports from France to Azerbaijan, which totaled $73.39 million during this period. This figure reflects a slight decrease of $167,920, or 0.23%, from the previous year.

The report further detailed that these trade figures accounted for 0.42% of Azerbaijan's total exports and 1.33% of its total imports, underscoring the significant growth in trade relations between Azerbaijan and France during the first four months of 2026.
