Baku: Azerbaijan's external public debt amounted to USD 4.62 billion as of July 1, 2026, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee. This marks a 7.9% reduction compared to the same period last year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decrease in the external public debt in June alone was USD 25.6 million. This reduction reflects Azerbaijan's efforts to manage its financial obligations more effectively and improve its economic standing.
