Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Pledges Full Support for Qatar Amidst Rising Tensions

Doha: Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, has affirmed his country's unwavering support for Qatar in the face of what he described as a brutal assault by Israel. This attack, he stated, poses a serious threat that could worsen the situation in the Gaza Strip and escalate the humanitarian crisis.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, during an address at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha, Bayramov commended Qatar's mediation efforts aimed at ending the aggression in Gaza and facilitating a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis. He highlighted the importance of adhering to the United Nations Charter and called for an end to the conflict in Gaza through dialogue.

Bayramov urged all involved parties to work towards an immediate ceasefire, emphasizing the need for dialogue and measures to de-escalate the situation. He stressed that maintaining regional security should be a priority, and efforts must be made to prevent further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
