In January-June of this year, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan made up USD 14 202,26 mln, APA-Economics reports citing State Customs Committee.

In the first half of this year export made up USD 8 811,10 mln., the import was USD 5 391,16 mln. Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover increased by 12%, export by 14,6%, imports by 8% in annual comparison.

During the reporting period, there was a positive balance in the amount of USD 3 419,94 mln. which is 26,8% more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year.
