Baku: Azerbaijan's Garabagh University and Trkiye's Istanbul Technical University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on various educational and scientific initiatives. The signing ceremony took place on January 21, with Shahin Bayramov, Rector of Garabagh University, and Hasan Mandal, Rector of Istanbul Technical University, formalizing the agreement. Emin Amrullayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, and Erol zvar, President of Trkiye's Council of Higher Education (YK), were present at the event.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, YK President Erol zvar highlighted the potential for expanded bilateral cooperation in science and education between the two institutions. The agreement outlines plans for joint projects, research collaborations, student exchange programs, and the development of dual degree programs.
Minister Emin Amrullayev emphasized the significance of the MoU as a platform for cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye in the fields of science and education. He affirmed Azerbaijan's commitment to strengthening its collaborative efforts with Trkiye in these areas, reflecting the close ties between the two countries.
