Baku: Over the past seven years, Azerbaijan’s real gross domestic product (GDP) has experienced a growth of 1.4 times, as stated by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov. The announcement was made during a session of the Milli Majlis, where the discussion centered around the 2026 budget package and the draft law ‘On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026,’ APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister highlighted that the nominal GDP in the non-oil and gas sector has doubled, while the real GDP volume increased by 1.4 times between 2019 and 2025, considering the expected indicators for 2025.
