Azerbaijan’s Gold Export Revenues Surpass $120 Million Mark

Baku: Azerbaijan’s gold exports have generated revenues exceeding $120 million in the first five months of this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the country exported gold valued at $121.3 million between January and May, as reported in the June edition of the ‘Export Review’ by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

This figure represents a significant increase, amounting to 2.6 times or $76 million more compared to the corresponding period in 2024. The data highlights a substantial growth in gold exports from Azerbaijan, reflecting a robust performance in the mining sector.

Notably, gold exports in May alone accounted for $25.9 million, marking an 86.3% increase year-on-year. This surge in monthly exports underscores the upward trajectory of Azerbaijan’s gold trade, contributing positively to the nation’s economic landscape.
