Baku: The State Agency on Mandatory Medical Insurance of Azerbaijan is committed to improving the quality of medical services, as announced by the agency’s chairman, Zaur Aliyev, during the launch of the website its.gov.az.

According to Trend News Agency, Aliyev highlighted that mandatory medical insurance has been operational nationwide for over three years. He emphasized the formation of a skilled IT team as part of the initiative and expressed that the implementation drew on the practices of various countries. The newly launched website is intended to be a resource for other nations, with hopes that Azerbaijan’s experience in mandatory medical insurance will be beneficial globally.
