Baku: Azerbaijan's trade activities with Kazakhstan have experienced notable changes this year. In the period from January to May, Azerbaijan exported goods valued at $50,736,060 to Kazakhstan, marking a 12.7 percent increase, equivalent to $5,716,950, compared to the same timeframe last year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, while exports saw a rise, imports from Kazakhstan showed a significant downturn. Azerbaijan imported goods worth $85,260,770 from Kazakhstan, which reflects a fivefold decrease, or $337,355,030 less, than the corresponding period of the previous year.
The report highlights that these trade figures represented 0.36 percent of Azerbaijan's total exports and 1.25 percent of its total imports during the reported period.
