Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency Strongly Condemns Information Provocation

Baku: Azerbaijan's Media Development Agency has issued a statement condemning systematic disinformation against Azerbaijan on social networks, APA reports. The agency has expressed its concerns over the ongoing dissemination of misleading information by a social media page that identifies itself as 'Q?zet§i'. This entity has been accused of spreading false claims that 150 doctors and paramedics have been mobilized for military service and dispatched to the Astara and Fuzuli districts, which are situated on the border with Iran.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agency highlighted that such activities are designed to confuse public opinion and tarnish the country's information environment from abroad. The statement emphasizes that these actions are not only misleading but also carry legal consequences. The Media Development Agency has urged media entities, journalists, and public activists to rely solely on official sources to prevent the spread of information that could incite public anxiety.
