Baku: Azerbaijan’s national team has emerged as the champion in the Minifootball World Championship held in Baku. The final match, played at the National Gymnastics Arena, saw Azerbaijan face off against Hungary, culminating in a 4-2 victory for Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the goals for Azerbaijan were scored by Tamkin Kalilzade, Mahammad Khalilov, and Ravan Karimov, who scored twice. This victory marks a historic achievement for the team led by Elshad Guliyev, as they have claimed the world champion title for the first time.

The tournament also saw Serbia securing third place after defeating Montenegro with a decisive 3-0 score.
